Hello all of my lovely Mom Sexy Prom Queens in the making! I’ve been so excited about this little shindig for weeks now…and I hope that all of you have too. Are you ready to have some fun? It’s time to get this party started!
I’m convinced that this prom is going to be way more fun than any of the ones I attended in high school. Because I’ve got a few things working in my favor this time around:
1. I know that I can be kind of a pain in the ass sometimes, but I’m fairly certain that my boyfriend isn’t going to break up with me five days after this prom. And if he does, then he can kiss my ass. There are plenty of other fish in the sea.
2. I decided to save a little cash and opted not to rent a limo…which means that there is absolutely zero chance of me leaving the prom riding in it by myself. Been there, done that.
3. Corsages are optional at my event, and I’m choosing not to wear one. The whole wilted flower thing just doesn’t go with my “do-me” heels.
And of course, my dress is really workin’ for me this time. I think that it looks pretty damn good. I’m actually pretty sure that if I had worn this little number to my Senior Prom back in 1995 instead of the red and gold sequined halter dress that made me look like a Solid Gold dancer, maybe the dude that I’d had a crush on the entire year would have actually danced with me.
Or at least he would’ve thought about it.
And since my Mom Sexy post just wouldn’t be complete without a video included, I’ve prepared a little Prom Welcome for you.

The nominees for Prom Queen will be announced early next week…although you are ALL Queens in my opinion! Whoever is crowned Prom Queen will also hold the title of my Mom Sexy Blogger for July. And I will also be sending her a little goodie bag, with a tiara included.
One more thing…for those of you who have been kind enough to vote for my audition video to possibly win my own talk show on Oprah’s new network, thank you from the bottom of my heart. Your support means the world to me!

Girl, you’re just too cute!! Love the dress and the spiked punch. How did you know that was my favorite? I’ll have you know I had to get hubby out of bed early and drag him out into the yard to take my photo this AM before work. I hope no one notices the lack of shoes. I ordered some to go with the dress and they don’t arrive until next week! But we all just had lots of your punch and no one noticed. That’s my story and we’re sticking to it.

I still can’t believe that I participated! Whenever I walked into the family with that dress on & the plunger in hand, telling my husband I needed him to help me…and he said,”why are you plunging the toilet in a gown?” Thought I was going to die laughing!!!! Remember it’s FUN to be a mom!

Love it! 1, dang girl you look great! 2, loved the punch bowl, 3, your house looks beautiful, ahem, my kitchen is always so dirty with some kind of sticky substance, LOL most often kid related. That or finding cherrios in the most random places 4, Dress??? ahh bummer all I have is maternity dresses in my closet. No good. They are nice but my pooch of a tummy is not THAT big & that’s a good thing. I could always put a black garbage bag on with a sequenced belt and perhaps I can drag out my wedding tiara?
